Carajillo Martini

The classic carajillo (espresso with a small nip of brandy, anis or rum) gets a makeover and gives the old espresso martini a run for its money! Here we use classic Spanish brandy, along with a hint of orange and a housemade hazelnut orgeat for a little extra body and nutty flavor. Orgeat is traditionally an almond syrup used around the world (Orgeat is the French form), most notably in many classic Tiki cocktails. Here we use Catalan hazelnuts in place, rounding out our take on an after dinner sipper.
