This cocktail is gorgeous. This is our take on a traditional sour starring Hudson Whiskey "Bright Lights, Big Bourbon", aged 3 years in charred oak barrels. Finished with smoky and sweet caramelized kumquats. Perfect to sip on the patio.

RECIPE FOR COCKTAIL

In a shaking tin, combine: 

  • 2oz Hudson Whiskey NY "Bright Lights, Big Bourbon"
  • 1oz Kumquat Juice
  • .25oz Simple Syrup
  • .25 Grand Marnier
  • 1oz Super Foam Syrup (Gum Arabic, Xanthan Gum,Methyl Cullulose)

Add ice. Shake to chill and incorporate and the strain into tin.
Discard ice and dry shake again for 10 seconds to create foam.
Pour into a rocks glass with fresh ice

  • Top with 1 ounce of Galeam Red wine. Slowly pour it into the drink over the back of a cocktail spoon so that it floats on top

Garnish: 3 pieces of caramelized kumquats lined up in the center of the drink
