RECIPE FOR COCKTAIL

Orchard Margarita

  • 2 oz Teremana Reposado Tequila
  •  3⁄4 oz Lime Juice
  • 3⁄4 oz Chai Agave Syrup
  • 3⁄4 oz Apple Cider
  • 2 Dashes Fee Brothers Aromatic Bitters

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin; add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with fanned apple slices and a piece of star anise.

Batch Preparation:

Combine 4.25 oz batch in a mixing tin; add dashes of bitters and ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with fanned apple slices and a piece of star anise.

Chai Tea Agave Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Hot Water (212 F)
  • 1.5 Cups Agave Nectar
  • 8 Chai Tea Bags

Preparation:

Steep tea bags in 1 cup hot water for 5 minutes; remove bags, being careful to press them gently to release any tea they’ve absorbed. Measure the strained tea (it should be roughly 3⁄4 cup) and add twice that amount of agave nectar (roughly 1  1⁄2 cups), stir well to incorporate and refrigerate syrup for up to two weeks.

  • Yield: 21⁄4 Cups

In a quart container:

14 oz Teremana Reposado

5.25 oz Lime Juice

5.25 Chai Agave Syrup

5.25 Apple Cider

Yield: 7 cocktails
