TASTING NOTES: Light. Citrus, melon, honey on the nose. Deeper than most Verdejos. Tropical and fruity with bright acid on the palate.

La Seca means “the dry” in Spanish – it is both the name of a village and the appellation of Rueda in Castilla y Leon. This ancient and arid, stone strewn river bed is home to the best Verdejo based wines in Spain. “Cepas muy Viejas” means “Very old vines.” The Vidal Vidal comes from vines that are over 100 years old. 100% Verdejo, hand harvested from very old vines from a single vineyard. Fermented in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, before aging in bottle for 6 months.
