NOTES

Father and son team Santiago and Roberto run this family operation since 1998. Their work represents two generations and two takes on viticulture and winemaking. Some of their projects are distinctly classic Rioja, other are encouraging modern techniques and organic farming. For their rosé they decided to make it completely from the juice of Tempranillo grapes, wheras many Rioja rosados include a good portion of white wine in the mix. The key here though, is that the wine is made only from the free run juice, the grapes are not heavily pressed, making it much more delicate.Bright raspberry and wild strawberry jump out of the glass. The nose is generally very clean. The palate is perfectly round but fresh and lively, making this Rosado equally perfect for a light meal, a picnic, or a day at the beach.
