Black Pepper- Bayleaf Syrup

ingredients

4 Heaping tablespoons ground black peppercorns

2 Cups Sugar

2 Cups Water

12 Dried Bay leaves

preparation

Lightly muddle black peppercorns in a a quart

Add sugar and hot water from the espresso machine

Dissolve sugar and add bay leaves to quart

Let stand 10 min then strain off and let cool
